Photo taken yesterday, 17 June, 2016. The afternoon light is cast across my art and studio creating a hot spot effect. I’m creating work faster than I’m selling at the moment, but I don’t slow down either way. I paint when I feel the inspired need to create, which is most of the time.
Summer is a difficult time for me to couped up inside of the studio when it’s so amazingly nice outside. This is a great time for gallery visits, beach combing, and yard sales. Teaching will keep me close to my studio and provides me the opportunity to at least be near my supplies so I can jump in and create if the urge is greater than being outside.
Time to inspect my garden before I head to my studio. Have a great day!
